The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) is pleased to announce the results of its 2015 Board of Directors election.
This year, .CA Members voted to elect 4 new directors, each serving three-year terms.
At CIRA, we believe that Canadians have both the right to be informed about how the Internet develops, and a responsibility to act on it. Whether you use the Internet for work or play, you can influence the future development and direction of the Internet in Canada.
CIRA’s board of directors plays a direct role in developing strategy and policy for the .CA domain. Our work impacts everything from the security of our online interactions to the strength of our digital economy.
CIRA now, more than ever, represents Canadians – and Canadian values – online.
.CA Members voted to elect three directors from the final Nomination Committee slate and one director from the final Member’s slate.
