THE PROJECT
The Parkdale Centre for Innovation is a not-for-profit committed to supporting early-stage entrepreneurs through programming that addresses the unique challenges women, racialized communities, and other underrepresented groups face in the startup stage. The Centre built an online platform, Canadainnovates.org (no longer operational), that allowed them to scale up their current Early Stage Entrepreneurship Incubator program, elevating it to the national level.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Entrepreneurs across the country can now register for the free portal to access the courses and tools they need to start and grow businesses and improve their digital literacy. By providing equitable access to essential training and economic opportunities, this platform paves the way for a more inclusive future.
