THE PROJECT

This project advanced research in intelligent-driven DNS over HTTPS (DoH) attack detection by identifying and developing attack scenarios, pattern recognition models and tools for understanding the real behaviour of adversaries, as well as developing comprehensive and proactive solutions to detect them.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

As a result, researchers generated the first publicly available DoH dataset and a publication of the findings was disseminated throughout the cyber science community in Canada. This open-source project opened the doors to new opportunities for fellow researchers and provided more secure access to information and communication networks, keeping the internet safer for people and organizations.
