App design is becoming an important skill as mobile computing dominates the Canadian market. Story Planet’s App Maker Workshop series has inspired and empowered a team of children aged 6-12 as they collaborated in the design of an original story making app.
Using input from their kid designers, Story Planet designed and prototyped innovative online story-building tools that will help young people to explore and share their creative ideas. This new platform, built by kids for kids, will expand Story Planet’s mission – to empower kids and train creators – online.
