Fruit Share Connection Service

Building on Fruit Share's current work of rescuing surplus fruit by connecting local fruit owners with volunteer pickers, this project will create an automated online tool to connect fruit owners with fruit pickers to enable more people to rescue more fruit in a more timely, efficient and cost effective way.

Creation of a Next Generation 911 Development Forum

The Canadian Interoperability Technology Interest Group (CITIG) is working with stakeholders to ensure that communities across the country can deploy next generation 9-1-1 services in ways that keep costs under control and leverage investments between communities. For instance, greater interoperability could mean that a smaller community could link their 9-1-1 system with a county or regional system, gaining access to a greater variety of services at a lower cost.
