Engage with potential directors in online forum
Ottawa, ON – September 20, 2018 – Members of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) community will begin casting their votes on September 27 for candidates in the Canadian Internet Registration Authority's (CIRA) 2018 board of directors election.
In advance of the vote, CIRA Members can learn more about the candidates and where they stand on issues of importance to Canada’s internet.
- Candidate profiles are now live at https://cira.ca/election-results.
- CIRA Members can engage with candidates in the 2018 campaign forum. The forum will be accessible from September 20-27.
- A live online Q&A will take place on the campaign forum on Thursday, September 20. Join in from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (ET) to engage with candidates.
CIRA Members are an important part of CIRA’s governance process and help ensure that a broad range of views are represented in CIRA’s decision making.
The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) manages the .CA top-level domain on behalf of all Canadians. A Member-based organization, CIRA also develops and implements policies that support Canada’s Internet community, and represents the .CA registry internationally.
