Ottawa, ON – March 26, 2018 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) 2019 board of directors election process will begin on June 4, 2019 with a call for applications.

Online voting for election candidates will begin at CIRA’s annual general meeting (AGM) on September 25, 2019 in Ottawa and will run until October 2, 2019.

This year, CIRA members will elect four board members.

CIRA’s election process provides Canadians and CIRA members the opportunity to take a leadership role in advancing the internet in Canada and to ensure .CA continues to be an accessible, secure and trusted Canadian resource.

All CIRA members will be invited by email to vote and attend the AGM. Further details will be posted on CIRA’s website as they become available.
