Ottawa, ON – April 05, 2016 – CIRA is seeking qualified nominees for the 2016 board of director’s election.

 

Ottawa, ON – April 05, 2016 –The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) Board of Directors is seeking individuals to join its nomination committee for the 2016 board of directors election.

The nomination committee’s role is to seek and select qualified candidates for CIRA’s board of directors election. The committee’s focus is to help build a board of directors that represents a wide range of views and interests, ultimately contributing to the strategic direction of .CA, CIRA, and the broader Canadian Internet.

CIRA is looking for Canadians who have:

  • current governance experience (mandatory);
  • experience identifying and selecting superior candidates;
  • experience in relevant industry sectors;
  • a passion for Canada’s Internet.

The deadline to submit applications for the nomination committee is 2 p.m. ET, April 19, 2016.
