Canadian researchers breaking down barriers for people living with vision loss

Montréal, QC – August 3, 2016 – Researchers at McGill University have developed an innovative technology so Canadians living with vision loss can better navigate the world around them. 
After successfully testing its Autour application in Montréal, and with funding from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s Community Investment Program, the McGill team has launched an expanded version of the app to include cities across Canada. 





IIS chooses D-Zone for performance and security

Helsinki, FL – June 29, 2016 – Today at the global meeting of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), The Internet Foundation In Sweden (IIS), operators of the .SE and .NU country code domains, and the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), operators of the .CA domain, announced a deal to deliver secondary Anycast DNS services to the Swedish market.
